On Top of It All in a Costa Rica Lodge

Down by the Lookout Inn's pool the masked Smilisca frog was spotted hanging out on a leaf. It was there for a good 30 minutes watching the boys work on the new deck. With so many different species of frogs here on the Osa Peninsula it is easy to add new ones to your life list. When walking I keep my eyes peeled for any little creature hiding among the lush vegetation.


The Lookout Inn is perfectly situated on a nice hillside that allows for a diverse array of fauna including mammals, reptiles, birds and invertebrates. Not to mention all the flora!
