The Osa Peninsula is ideally located to provide you with the most comprehensive Costa Rica sport fishing experience imaginable.
The cobalt waters of the Pacific are host to some of the finest offshore fishing on the planet, and you will be deep sea fishing for blue, black, and striped marlin, sailfish, dorado, wahoo, or large yellowfin tuna depending on the season and your interests.
The gentle waters of the Golfo Dulce are host to the best inshore action, and it's your choice of four types of snapper, snook, jack crevalle, grouper, roosterfish, mackerel, and more.
You can tailor your Costa Rica fishing experience to what you
want, with some of the hottest offshore action in the world
in the blue waters of the Pacific and equally smoking inshore
action in the Golfo Dulce, a tropical fjord ringed on three
sides by mountains and rain forests. Besides the sport fishing
action, expect to see a variety of marine wildlife, including
sea turtles, humpback whales, orcas, whale sharks, mantas,
sea snakes and bottle-nosed porpoises.
About Osa Sport Fishing Captains
Captain Mark Corn was raised in south Florida, the fishing capital of the world. He has fished all his life through Florida, The Bahamas, and the Pacific side of southern Costa Rica, where he holds an open-class world's record. With seventeen years as a Captain in the Atlantic and ten years off the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica, he is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of sport-fishing and will be your fishing guide for all trips.
Captain Kay Condon grew up on the water fishing, sailing, and diving in the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. She has been a licensed Captain since 1994. After years of running parasail boats, snorkel boats, and sailboats in Key West, she was ready for a change. She moved to the Bahamas for 2 years, then she started traveling and fishing in Costa Rica. THAT WAS IT! She immediately fell in love with the incredible fishing, the beautiful scenery, and the wonderful people in Costa Rica. She has been fishing in the local waters off the Osa Peninsula for the last 4 years and is convinced... this is where she will spend the rest of her life.
About Osa Sport Fishing Equipment
This boat was built with one thing in mind...fishing in comfort!
She's a 30-ft. Stamas with a superwide 11-ft. 2" beam. Experienced anglers will appreciate the large wide open cockpit. Five anglers can fish comfortably with no obstructions. The extra wide beam also greatly reduces the "rolling effect" felt in most boats offshore. The full tower gives us excellent visibility to spot fish. There is a large v-berth down below and a fully enclosed head.
The boat is equipped with brand new heavy duty, state of the art fishing tackle. Including rods, reels, (standup and spinners) Rupp outriggers, downriggers, and all modern electronics.
A fast 28-knot cruise gets us to the fishing grounds in a hurry. Less time traveling means more time fishing!
At Osa Sportfishing, we offer world-class sportfishing packages that you can customize to your own tastes. You can fish offshore in Pacific waters about one hour out or inshore in the Golf Dulce.
